Job Description

We are seeking creative and experienced Architects to design, develop, and oversee the construction of various building projects. This role involves creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet client needs, building codes, and environmental standards. Architects will collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout all phases of a project, from conceptual design through construction documentation and administration. This role requires strong design skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements. Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential projects is required. Positions available in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities –

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects, from conceptualization to construction documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure technical accuracy and integration across disciplines.
• Prepare detailed architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections; prepare meeting minutes and field reports.
• Manage project timelines and budgets in collaborations with project managers.

Requirements –

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• 5+ years’ of professional experience in architecture
• Licensure required
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing and construction methods
• Excellent design, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• This position is an onsite position.
