Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and oversee event-based sales operations across multiple venues in your designated region. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring high-impact event execution, and managing a team of Product Specialists who bring our brand to life through promotions and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of strong leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of event marketing and field sales. You will be the face of our brand across venues ensuring brand consistency, seamless execution, and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, manage, and support a regional team of Product Specialists.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement ongoing training to foster professional development and team engagement.
  • Create a culture of accountability and results-driven collaboration.

Event & Promotion Oversight

  • Manage the execution of product promotions and events at multiple venues across your region.
  • Ensure events meet brand standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to maintain a smooth and professional experience.

Venue Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular venue visits to ensure quality control and consistent execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venue managers and key stakeholders to facilitate successful event operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.

Sales Performance & Strategy

  • Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and report results to senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategies that increase sales, enhance customer engagement, and improve promotional outcomes.
  • Leverage data and feedback to optimize future promotional efforts.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of event performance, team progress, budgets, and inventory.
  • Submit timely reports to leadership and collaborate cross-functionally on strategic planning.
  • Manage regional budgets while ensuring efficient use of resources.

Brand Representation

  • Act as a brand ambassador at events, ensuring consistent messaging and an elevated customer experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to align local activations with national campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in event management, promotions, or sales operations.
  • Prior experience in a multi-site leadership role strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in consumer sales, retail activations, or product demonstration is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to travel within assigned region.
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually
