Position: Art Director (Contract) – Individual Contributor

Location: Manhattan, NY (On-site)

Duration: 3 months

Compensation: $40–$42/hr (W2)

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Art Director to join our team on a short-term contract. This role is an individual contributor position responsible for designing and executing creative materials that bring the brand to life across multiple touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create graphic and marketing communication materials from concept through implementation.
• Develop visuals for in-store point-of-sale, collateral, direct mail, catalogs, environmental graphics, and window displays.
• Design pages and assigned projects on the computer using industry-standard software.
• Pull film for alternate selects as needed for merchants, production, or during film/layout reviews.
• Update scans and files on internal systems.
• Assist with still life photography shoots when required.
• Collaborate with merchandising, production, and photography teams to ensure brand consistency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Photography, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in graphic design or art direction.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to execute creative concepts while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Manhattan, NY for the duration of the contract.

Reporting:

• Reports to the Art Director
• No direct reports (individual contributor role)
