Position Summary

The Business Analyst Intern will support Tabanero Holdings’ marketing, sales, and operations teams by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover actionable insights (specifically retail account data - Walmart, Meijer, Winn-Dixie). This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented student or recent graduate eager to gain real-world experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), data analytics, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and clean data from various internal and external sources, including sales reports, CRM systems, and marketing platforms
• Build dashboards and visual reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement
• Assist in analyzing sales trends, market share data, and promotional performance
• Conduct competitor and market research using syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, SPINS, IRI)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and deliver data-backed solutions
• Support ad hoc analysis projects as assigned by the VP of Marketing & Trade Operations

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage but not required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to communicate insights clearly in both written and verbal formats
• Reliable Transportation
