Position: Business Development Representative
Status: Full time โ Exempt
Supervisor: Reports to Director of Business Development
Summary: The Business Development Representative is responsible for the execution of corporate growth strategies with support from the Business Unit Director, Business Units and Strategic partners to achieve short-and long-term business growth and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify potential target accounts, develop approach and secure pipeline of clients to grow business in profitable, sustainable manner in line with specific mutually agreed upon objectives.
· Manage business opportunities in securing sales pipeline in line with short-and long-term financial goals.
· Manage feasibility and market studies, evaluate findings, and prepare information and recommendations for decision-making.
· Identify and drive opportunities to improve current business development processes and cross functional collaboration to continuously improve effectiveness and minimize redundancy.
· Drive and coordinate activities related to business development workforce capability and client/customer data management.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for upselling, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts.
· Establish long-term relationships with potential clients/customers with the view to enhancing and grow business opportunities.
· Develop and manage FAE and account management team.
· Position will require travel within the US on a regular basis and limited travel to Taiwan and or/China for training and conferences.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to develop and present plans for business growth with financial justification in clear concise manner.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proven experience in management of sales, account management, inside sales
· Proven experience in business development and sales in electronic contract manufacturing of technical products, and experience of executing large scale projects involving multiple stakeholders. (preferred)
· Sound time-management and organizational skills.
· Self-motivated and a team player
· Sound understanding of basic business economics and applications to SINBON business. (Understanding financial statements, a plus)
Work Environment: This role primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There will be occasional exposure to the shop environment.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track sales activities and manage client relationships
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and progress
Experience
- Proven 5+ years electronics industry experience in business development, sales, or related field
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices
- Strategic planning abilities to identify long-term business growth opportunities
