We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a full-time position in Tampa. This role is ideal for candidates with at least five years of experience in a law firm, specializing in commercial real estate transactions.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing due diligence for large real estate transactions, ordering and reviewing title commitments, exception documents, and surveys. You will also administer contract critical dates, manage closing checklists, and assist with closings, including preparing conveyance documents and closing statements. Post-closing tasks will include organizing closing binders and monitoring post-closing deliveries. Additionally, you will prepare correspondence, memoranda, lease and loan document abstracts, review and summarize UCC, judgment, tax, and other lien searches, draft and review business and real estate contracts, and prepare and file various documents, including deeds and UCC financing statements.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in iManage and Aderant being a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with strong problem-solving and research abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks are crucial. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
