CAD Drafter

This exciting role will be responsible for designing and preparing technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. A solid understanding of mechanical systems and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Montesano, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance pumping and mixing equipment used for various municipal, industrial, and agricultural applications. Responsibilities:

• Perform Revit and 3D AutoCAD to produce construction documentation
• Organize and maintain drawings and project files for multiple projects simultaneously
• Transfer and translate digital file formats to create usable CAD backgrounds for drawings
• Create and maintain company standard details
• Provide MEP design support for our products in customer BIM Project Files
• Produce equipment schedules and details for multiple projects

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant AutoCAD experience is required
• 1+ years of experience with Revit is required
• Revit MEP & AutoCAD MEP design experience preferred
• Familiarity with Revit BIM360 project management is preferred
• Knowledge of FTP sites to upload and download CAD drawings and models
• Understanding of basic drawing setup, modeling techniques, and drafting standards
• Ability to be a quick learner and adapt to the specific Revit and AutoCAD procedures
• Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications
• Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards

Salary Range:

• $60,000-80,000 depending on experience.
