Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Development Product Owner (DPO) to support the enhancement and maintenance of our client's Property & Casualty (P&C) Billing System and Processes. This individual will collaborate closely with business and IT partners to break down features, prioritize work, and ensure readiness for Agile development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level features into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria using JIRA.
• Prioritize and manage the team’s backlog to align with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with business owners, Product Managers, other DPOs, and IT to define requirements and dependencies.
• Identify risks and impediments, and actively work to resolve them to ensure steady progress.

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of experience as a Development Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments.
• Demonstrated ability to refine complex features and write developer-ready stories without deep subject matter expertise.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Proficient in JIRA and Agile practices.

Relocation is not available. Must live in San Antonio - role will be onsite 4 days a week.
