Are you a strategic leader with a passion for finance, technology, and people? We're seeking a dynamic Director of Finance & IT to drive operational excellence across three core pillars of our client's business.

A strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations and IT of the company. Will play a key role in driving financial planning, operational efficiency, and digital transformation within a manufacturing environment. Analyzes financial results and provides guidance and advice regarding the company's financial performance and the financial effect of business plans and strategies.

** Must be able and willing to dive into Cost Accounting (journal entries, accruals) as needed

What You'll Own

Finance Leadership

• Lead and manage the accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis functions.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP and corporate financial policies.
• Oversee cash flow management, cost accounting, and financial risk analysis.
• Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to analyze and improve cost structures and operational efficiency.
• Manage external audits, tax preparation, and banking relationships.
• Develop and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with business goals.

IT Strategy & Infrastructure

• Oversee IT infrastructure, ERP Systems, cybersecurity, and data management.

HR Strategy & Workforce Development

• Create and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
• Ensures the HR department operates efficiently and in compliance with all applicable laws and policies.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field;
  MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and IT leadership roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing environment experience is required with strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP Systems (e.g. QAD, SAP, etc). Required: ability and willing to dive into Cost Accounting (journal entries, accruals) as needed
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and operations teams.
