Director of Sales Ops – Lutek Shading Systems

Lutek Shading Systems is a family-owned premier manufacturer and installer of custom architectural shading solutions. We specialize in delivering high-quality, innovative products for commercial and institutional projects nationwide. We work closely with general contractors, owners/developers, and architects on new construction and remodels of commercial buildings, as well as outdoor living spaces.

  Position Summary

The Director of Sales Ops will lead our sales department, drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with key clients, including general contractors and architects.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and expand market share.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.  
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems to manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and ensure all sales processes are followed accurately.
  • RFP Responses: Oversee and ensure timely and accurate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from general contractors and architects.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Sales Forecasting: Produce accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Director of Sales Ops or similar role, preferably in the construction or shading solutions industry. Experience in an EOS environment preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of sales strategies, market analysis, and competitive products.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools, preferably with Hubspot.
