World Wide Technology is looking for Epic Wisdom Applications Analyst. This job is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Role: Epic Wisdom Applications Analyst

Engagement: 12+ months; potential contract-to-hire

Location Preferences: (Manager wants Oakland or PST the most)

1) Office locations (Oakland, CA, San Francisco, CA, Sacramento, CA, Alpharetta, GA, Harrisburg, PA)

2) Remote

Attendance Requirements:

1) If local to office, 1-2 times a week at minimum

2) If remote, once per month to OAKLAND for 2-3 days at minimum

Interview Process:

1. 30 minute teams interview with WWT
2. 45 min interview with Client hiring manager
3. 30 min technical interview with Client
4. 30 min interview with leadership at Client
5. 30 min interview with Director of Client

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Analyst with expertise in Epic Wisdom to join our dynamic team. This Epic Applications Analyst plays a critical role in the implementation and installation of Epic applications, module upgrades, new components and modifications. This position is responsible for workflow configurations, go-live support, and on-going client support. You are also responsible for configuring application settings and validating configurations. This position is a expert role in Epic Practice Management system products. As an Application Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business processes, and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Epic Wisdom applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Application Analyst, with a focus on Epic Wisdom.
• Epic Wisdom certification is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with healthcare information systems in a clinical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Epic Wisdom Implementation:

• Lead the end-to-end setup and implementation of the Epic Wisdom system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT professionals, and business analysts, to gather requirements and customize the system accordingly.

Configuration and Customization:

• Configure Epic Wisdom modules to meet the specific needs and workflows of our healthcare organization.
• Implement customizations and enhancements to optimize system performance and usability.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users, ensuring a smooth transition to the new Epic Wisdom system.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams, empowering them to effectively manage and maintain the system post-implementation.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the IT team to integrate Epic Wisdom with existing infrastructure and other healthcare information systems.
• Provide regular updates on implementation progress, addressing challenges and ensuring effective
• Epic Wisdom System Support:
• Provide day-to-day support for the Epic Wisdom application, addressing end-user issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve any infrastructure-related issues affecting the Epic Wisdom system.

System Optimization:

• Analyze and evaluate existing Epic Wisdom workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Work closely with end-users and stakeholders to understand their requirements and implement enhancements to streamline processes.

Implementation and Upgrades:

• Participate in the planning and execution of Epic Wisdom system upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new modules and features within the Epic Wisdom application.

Training and Documentation:

• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on Epic Wisdom functionalities and best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Epic Wisdom configurations, workflows, and customizations.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with other IT professionals, clinical staff, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans for the Epic Wisdom system.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing updates on project statuses, issue resolutions, and system improvements.
