Escrow Officer

$60-75k base salary + Commission

Role Summary:

As an Escrow Officer, you will play a key role in managing real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements. You will act as a trusted intermediary between parties, oversee document preparation, resolve title issues, and facilitate closings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and manage escrow accounts, ensuring all necessary steps are completed accurately.
• Review and process real estate transactions, clearing titles, verifying documents, and coordinating with buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Identify and resolve title defects, liens, and encumbrances.
• Calculate prorations and prepare transaction statements.
• Conduct closing meetings, ensuring documents are properly executed and funds are disbursed accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address transaction challenges efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working in an escrow role (Officer, Assistant, Jr. Officer, etc.)
• Must have revenue attached.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency with digital transaction systems and escrow processes
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player
