Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical after sales support internally and with customers during installation, commissioning, and warranty services on new and existing installed electric vehicle (EV) equipment,
• Perform remote support for commissioning, maintenance (scheduled and preventative), remediation, and warranty as required,
• Analyze and identify product performance issues, customer quality complaints, root cause analyses and work cross-functionally through to solution,
• Acting as subject matter expert and execution lead for safety, field service best practices, and highest customer satisfaction,
• Supervise all tasks within Envision’s local and national safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years of hands on experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work, with at least 2-3 years focused on electric vehicle charging infrastructure or renewable energy solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and repairs on EVSE.
• Valid and active Electrical Contractor’s license and drivers license, and own your own truck/tools.
• Experience with high and low voltage AC and DC systems and components used in EVSE equipment.
• Knowledge of ASCE, ISO/IEC, NEC/CFPA, UL, and other industry standards and regulations related to structures and equipment at EV charging stations.
• In-depth understanding of EV charging technologies, including Level 1, 2, and DC fast chargers.
• Be a good self-starter, have a strong ability to deal with ambiguity, establish priorities, and proceed with objectives with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal incentives, regulations, and policies related to EV charging infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
