Position Summary

• Cash Management – Payment processing, Daily Forecasting and Treasury Management
• Accounts Payable Management– AP Coding, Managing Beanworks (automated OCR AP system).
• Financial Reporting –preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed.
• Assist in other accounting needs on an as needed basis: AR/AP, Cash Management, Trade Entry, Position Management, Onboarding counterparties, etc.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preparing financials for a commodity trading firm.
• Skilled in data management using programming languages (Python, VBA, SQL or something similar)
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance.
• Able to work well under pressure and prioritize workload appropriately.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify and implement process improvements, including process automation.
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain flexibility regarding ad-hoc projects, revisions to areas of responsibility, and organizational change.
• Ability to meet commitments and deadlines, and to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
• Able to process work with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to concisely communicate information to coworkers, both written and oral.
• Willingness to accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific prior industry knowledge within Natural Gas Liquids, Physical Ethanol trading, Physical Chemical trading and Physical Crude trading.
• Microsoft Power BI data mining of large data sets.
