Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Worker at the Central Kitchen is responsible for performing a variety of tasks on the production line in a food manufacturing facility. This includes preparing ingredients, operating equipment, packaging finished products, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow daily production schedules and instructions from Leads and Supervisors.

•Assemble, prepare, package, and inspect food products according to company standards.

•Operate basic production equipment safely and efficiently after training.

•Maintain a clean and organized work area following sanitation and safety guidelines.

•Follow all food safety rules including GMPs, HACCP, and allergen control procedures.

•Complete required production documentation such as counts, lot tracking, and labels.

•Report any equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.

•Assist with changeovers, setup, and cleanup as needed between product runs.

•Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

•Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all company safety protocols.

•Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

•Must be at least 18 years old.

•Minimum of a High school diploma or GED preferred.

•Previous experience in food manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.

•Ability to follow instructions, work quickly, and stay on task.

•Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.

•Comfortable working in hot, cold, or wet environments.

•Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
