Job Title: Functional Consultant – Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM)

Location- Dublin, Ohio

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand business requirements related to Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) and recommend system solutions.
• Identify, assess, and resolve issues and changes to existing MAWM functionalities.
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical specifications, application configurations, and testing scenarios.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including URS, SOPs, process flows, functional specifications, technical design documents, application configuration details, test cases, and support documentation as per internal standards.
• Build and execute test cases; perform hands-on system testing and validation.
• Provide functional support for the MAWM application and assist with migration of legacy WMS Distribution Center (DC) sites to Manhattan Active WMS.
• Coordinate with multiple external vendors (TMS, packing systems, conveyor systems) to resolve integration and operational issues.
• Work closely with technical teams to support integration of external systems and ensure smooth interface operations.
• Support and troubleshoot issues related to cloud-based services integrated with MAWM.
• Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure effective communication and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) or similar WMS platforms.
• Proven expertise in requirement gathering, functional documentation, test case preparation, and system validation .
• Experience supporting WMS implementations, upgrades, and site migrations.
• Good understanding of system integrations (TMS, conveyor, packing systems) at the functional and technical level.
• Knowledge of cloud-based WMS applications and services .
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination abilities.
• Core IT/Consulting background – not warehouse operations or end-user roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Manhattan Active WMS implementations .
• Familiarity with supply chain, distribution center, and logistics processes .
• Exposure to Agile / SDLC methodologies .
