Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a proven ability to manage teams, projects, and budgets related to HVAC systems in commercial, industrial, or institutional environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians, supervisors, and contractors.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems across multiple facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments on HVAC-related aspects of construction and renovation projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Manage HVAC budgets, including forecasting, procurement, and cost control.
• Monitor and evaluate system performance using Building Management Systems (BMS) or related platforms.
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities for HVAC staff.
• Prepare reports, performance metrics, and documentation for leadership review.
• Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technology trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of progressive HVAC experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and energy management.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
