GIS Data Entry Clerk

Duration: Contract till 12/19/2025 with High Possibility of Extension

Location: Remote (Local candidates from Michigan preferred as some travel within MI may be required)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented GIS Data Entry Clerk to support gas service record documentation within our GIS system. This role involves entering data from field redlined design drawings and SAP Work Management System work orders. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, meet production goals, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input gas service record data into the GIS system using field redlined design drawings and SAP Work Management System details.
• Review graphic designs and data fields associated with service designs to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain production timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other commonly used tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines to perform assigned tasks effectively.
• Capable of working efficiently in a virtual/remote environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with GIS concepts, particularly ESRI ArcGIS.
• Experience in utilities, gas service records, or engineering work.
• Strong attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
