Cross Country Education is seeking two passionate and skilled General Education Teachers for a respected charter school in Bridgeport, CT. This is a full-time opportunity for the 2025–2026 school year, teaching General Science or High School Chemistry at the upper campus (grades 7–12). 📚 Professional Development:
💵 Pay Range:
$34-41/ hour (based on license and experience) - Licensed Teachers
Substitutes and those with 12 credits of pertinent coursework $30-$33 range
✅ Qualifications:
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree – Required
📄 12+ subject-specific credits (if not certified) – Transcript must be submitted
🪪 CT Teaching Certification – Preferred
📚 1–2 years of relevant teaching experience – Preferred
👔 Professional Expectations:
✔️ Professional dress code required
👕 Men must wear ties and button-up shirts
💍 No excessive jewelry
