Human Resources and Compliance Generalist

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Human Resources and Compliance Generalist job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar Human Resources and Safety Compliance role.
This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn a salary between $62,000 and $67,000. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities:
-Addressing employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and employee relations
-Recruiting and onboarding new employees
-Maintaining employee information in the HRIS
-Administering benefits: enrollments, changes, questions, etc.
-Implementing and enforcing HR and safety policies and procedures
-Conducting on-site safety audits
-Monitoring monthly environmental checks
-Assisting Supervisors with conducting safety investigations of incidents and near misses
-Developing, assigning, and tracking safety and compliance training
-Maintaining all safety documentation and logs
-Maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental requirements, etc.
-All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
-At least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills
-Proficiency with UKG software preferred but not required
-Excellent attention to detail
-Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant subject preferred but not required
-SHRM-CP preferred
-Ability to travel to various job sites for safety walkthrough audits (10% of your time)
Compensation:
-Annual salary between $62,000 and $67,000
