Job Title: Instructional Designer

Duration: 06 Months contract with possible Extension
Pay Rate: $43-$48.00/hour DOE
Summary
An American multinational technology company engaged in e-commerce is seeking a strong writer to join its Communications, Organizational Learning and Benchmarking (COLaB) team. The ideal candidate will create and maintain training programs for technical and operational staff, utilizing diverse instructional methods including e-learning and instructor-led training. The role requires a self-motivated learner who can translate complex systems and organizational content into effective learning materials.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audience.
Plan and write content for training programs using instructional and distribution methods (online, classroom or blended) that best suit the content.
Create engaging and valid trainee evaluation tools that prove successful knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
3-6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and application of instructional theories, adult learning, on the job learning, knowledge management theories, and principles in both on-line and classroom instruction.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications, HTML and Photoshop; experience using e-learning software (e.g., Articulate or Captivate) and proven competence using a Learning Management System (LMS).
