📢 Interim HR Manager – East Memphis (Immediate Start)

Interim Role | On-Site

We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Manager to step in immediately and provide leadership and support across all core HR functions. This role will be based in the East Memphis area and will remain interim until further notice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve Workers’ Compensation cases in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Oversee compliance requirements , including licensing, background checks, and regulatory reporting.
• Handle unemployment claims and ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Administer disciplinary actions and write-ups , ensuring fairness and proper documentation.
• Lead the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and integration.
• Support employee benefits administration , answering inquiries and coordinating with providers.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Serve as a trusted HR partner to leadership, employees, and stakeholders.
• Oversee a small team of generalist and recruiters

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar role .
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices .
• Experience handling WC claims, unemployment claims, and disciplinary procedures .
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt quickly in an interim capacity.

Details:

📍 Location: East Memphis (on-site role)

💲 Pay: Up to $75,000 annualized (commensurate with experience)

⏱ Availability: Immediate start – Interim role until further notice
