Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Jeweler to join our in-house team. This role involves performing a wide range of jewelry repairs, resizing, custom work, and stone setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about craftsmanship, takes pride in their precision and quality, and has experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all types of jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, chain soldering, prong retipping, clasp repairs, and polishing.
• Set gemstones of various types and sizes with accuracy and security.
• Create and assemble custom jewelry pieces according to specifications.
• Ensure each piece meets our high-quality standards before delivery to the customer.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workbench and workspace.
• Communicate effectively with sales staff to understand customer needs and timelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Help evaluate jewelry for repair or restoration and provide input on feasibility and cost.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bench jeweler experience (retail or independent setting preferred).
• Proficiency in a wide variety of bench techniques, including soldering, stone setting, polishing, and laser welding (if applicable).
• Strong attention to detail and a steady hand.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and pride in craftsmanship.
