You will empower KFC US teams to achieve their full potential by delivering seamless digital learning solutions and access to communication platforms that support our people and culture. Your mission will be to foster community, connection, and growth across the organization by leading your team to craft and implement a visionary technology strategy that revolutionizes the way that our people learn and grow.

Leading People & Culture technology strategy and innovation

  • Deliver transformative learning and communication solutions tailored to KFC’s restaurant environments by developing and executing a holistic People technology strategy.
  • Foster organizational excellence by leading the development, maintenance, and evolution of the intranet, ensuring content is well-organized, governed effectively, and assessed for continuous improvement.
  • Introduce cutting-edge innovation, enrich learning experiences, and align technology solutions to strategic goals by:
  • Leveraging industry trends and best practices to deliver multimedia content that empowers team members across all roles (e.g., RSC).
  • Providing forward-thinking leadership on usability and system improvements, while ensuring seamless integration with Yum!, global brands, and IT teams.

Driving operational efficiency and actionable insights

  • Unlock efficiency and streamline processes by leveraging tools that optimize needs analysis, content delivery, tracking, reporting, and performance measurement across the organization.
  • Drive better business outcomes by spearheading the reporting strategy for learning and communication platforms, integrating people and operations data to inform impactful decision-making.
  • Achieve consistency and scalability in content delivery by designing efficient tools and systems, testing in-restaurant usability, and governing content structure and reusability.
  • Enhance system reliability and UX by collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners to address technical needs, optimize integrations, and improve overall usability.

Leading and inspiring your team

  • Inspire and cultivate a high-performing team by communicating clear results-oriented expectations, mentoring and equipping the team with resources to meet objectives and grow their careers at KFC US.
  • You will collaborate with leaders across various functions, including Operations and People & Culture, and partner closely with IT, KFC Global Training, and Yum! cross-brand technology teams. You will also engage regularly with external vendors and KFC US franchisees.
  • In this role, you will manage and inspire one direct report.

What you bring to the table:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with certifications in HR strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university, preferably in Learning Development or IT .

Experience:

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s, 10+ years with Master’s.
  • Prior experience with People Technology systems (e.g., LMS, LCMS, LRS), data systems, and industry practices preferred.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire direct reports to achieve company objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders; ability to present effectively to senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and form action-able recommendations.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, including driving great outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $130,000-145,000 annually + bonus. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
