Job Description

LiquidPiston is seeking a licensed Electricianto support our engine development lab and machine shop. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Equipment includes machine tools (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM’s) and engine test cell fixtures(AD/DC motors up to 100hp), VFD’s, PLC’s
• Ensure electrical systems are installed and operated properly, and comply with electrical codes
• Work closely with VP of Operations and Engineering team to plan and execute work
• Be a “one-man Electrical department” supporting a company of ~ 50 people
• Assist with managing electrical contractors, as needed
• Support an upcoming move from Bloomfield, CT to Suffield, CT
