Job Description

The MedSpa Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of the medspa through strategic sales leadership, targeted marketing execution, performance-driven operations, and world-class customer service. This role is responsible for hitting aggressive revenue goals, managing team performance against key KPIs, and executing innovative marketing strategies to increase client acquisition, retention, and brand visibility. KEY REPSONSIBILITIES

1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead by example in delivering consultative, high-conversion sales—both in treatment packages and retail.
  • Develop and train staff in advanced sales techniques, client upselling, and retention strategies.
  • Monitor service and retail sales KPIs (conversion rate, average ticket size, client retention rate, rebooking rates) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build and manage membership/subscription models to drive recurring revenue.

2. KPI Management & Performance Optimization

  • Establish clear performance benchmarks and KPIs for all team members.
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly reports to assess trends, identify bottlenecks, and propose agile solutions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, deliver coaching and performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Implement CRM and POS systems effectively to track client journey and maximize customer lifetime value (CLV).

3. Strategic Marketing & Brand Growth

  • Develop and execute local and digital marketing campaigns (social media, SEO, email marketing, influencer collaborations, events).
  • Monitor ROI of all marketing initiatives and reallocate resources based on data.
  • Collaborate with the owner and marketing agency (if applicable) to align branding, campaigns, and promotions with overall business goals.
  • Oversee reputation management strategies including Google Reviews, Yelp, and RealSelf.

4. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue B2B partnership opportunities with gyms, salons, wellness centers, and corporate offices.
  • Evaluate new service lines, technology upgrades, and retail offerings based on market demand and profitability.
  • Regularly analyze competitor landscape and adjust service and pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Implement referral programs and loyalty incentives to drive organic growth.

5. Team & Operations Management

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of aestheticians, nurses, and front desk personnel.
  • Ensure optimal staff scheduling to balance labor cost efficiency with client satisfaction.
  • Uphold exceptional client experience standards from first contact to post-service follow-up.
  • Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and compliance with health and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales-focused management experience in medspa, luxury spa, aesthetics, or related field.
  • Proven ability to lead a team to achieve aggressive revenue and performance targets.
  • Strong understanding of medspa services (injectables, lasers, skincare, body contouring).
  • Experience with CRM systems, POS platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  • Analytical, entrepreneurial, and relentless in driving growth.
