About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients. With your expertise in infusion therapy, you’ll oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers. You’ll ensure every treatment is delivered with precision and care, making a real difference in patients’ lives.

Schedule

We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support centers in the Eastern Bay Area, primarily San Ramon and Walnut Creek. The FT NP will typically work four days per week, generally from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM , with rotating Saturdays. Locations may vary, and shifts are dependent on patient scheduling and subject to change.

What You’ll Do

• Provide onsite supervision for all patients during their visits.
• Perform patient assessments, document health status, and complete SOAP notes.
• Administer infusions and injections according to prescribed protocols.
• Calculate medication dosages (e.g., mg/kg) and ensure proper administration.
• Collaborate with referring providers for prior authorizations and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and potential treatment side effects.
• Keep clinical spaces clean and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
• Support audits, regulatory requirements, and staff review processes.
• Review and ensure accurate charge capture for patient encounters.
• Communicate openly with referring providers to coordinate care.
• Occasionally assist with pre-registration, prior authorization, or related services.
• Travel to multiple facilities within your designated market as needed.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Excellent IV skills (Infusion Therapy experience a plus!)
• Strong mathematical skills for medication dosage calculations

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
• Must be able to treat a wide range of patients across the lifespan, including both adults and pediatrics
• Board certified by AANP or ANCC
• Successful completion of Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing program
• BLS Provider certification, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• PALS Provider certification, strongly preferred, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in an infusion setting preferred

WAGE RANGE:

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and is benchmarked against similar organizations to our size and industry. For our Nurse Practitioner role, we generally pay new hires between $76.00 and $88.00 per hour in the Bay Area market. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for roles and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular employees are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other company benefits; some of these benefits may also be available for part-time positions.
