Description We are looking for an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing and fulfillment of customer orders from initiation to delivery. You will ensure accurate order entry, track inventory levels, coordinate with various departments such as sales, shipping, and customer service, and resolve any order-related issues. The role includes monitoring order status, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams are key to success in this role.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Act as point of contact to the sales department on Sale Order inquiry.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Maintains metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, and training or safety records.
- Keep track month-to-date invoice vs. budget on a daily/weekly basis and forecast potentials on a quarterly basis.
- Supervise the work of logistics, planning, and production to pull information and keep records up to date.
- Manage backlog in GP and PowerBI and communicate to sales any change on sale orders (dates, issues causing delays, etc.).
- Date management report:
- Ensure planning, production and procurement adds notes and keep dates updated in a timely manner.
- Update Vista ship dates every Monday on all the orders in the system.
- Entered Vista Planned ship dates based off TJ Planned ship date.
- Update Shipping status based off current status e.g. TJ Manufacturing, Vista Testing, Hold Credit Hold Inspection etc.
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of working experience in high volume production control, supply chain, shipping/receiving, and/or inventory management environment.
- Complex Problem Solving: Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Experience in production planning and/or master scheduling.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and driving execution with urgency
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/ Experience with Great Plains a plus but not required.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Physical Conditions / Requirements - No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting and nearly all work is done in a comfortable indoor facility.
- Occasional – Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
- Job frequently requires sitting and handling objects with hands.
- Job occasionally requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
- Hearing requirements: Ability to hear people over the telephone and in person; hear noise in surrounding areas, i.e., forklifts in warehouse for safety purposes.
