Pharmacist – Float

Our Client is an established healthcare organization based in the Naples, FL area that offers its employees top-notch benefits and top-rated management.

The Position : Our Client is looking for a full-time Pharmacist to Float Between Naples and Immokalee in two separate locations. They are offering the following compensation and benefits:

Requirements:

  • Pharm.D Required of Accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active Florida License
  • A Minimum Of One (1) Year Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist in Retail or Outpatient Setting.
  • Knowledge of Federal And State Laws, Regulations And Standards Regarding The Provision of Pharmaceutical Services

Responsibilities:

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Rotating Saturdays May Be Required In The Future
  • 100% Outpatient
  • No Nights
  • Responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications used throughout the facility. The pharmacist is expected to sustain an environment for the safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups.
  • Expected job responsibilities include performing admission and discharge medication reconciliation on high-risk and Medicare/Medicaid patients, ensure follow-up care is addressed and appropriate referrals and services are arranged, and deliver medication-related education to patients and caregivers on high-risk and high-cost medications.
  • Responsible for the direct supervision of technical support personnel
