Phlebotomist in Camillus, New York 13031

Now Hiring: Phlebotomist I – Camillus, NY (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: Camillus, NY 13031

Contract- 3+months

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:15 AM–4:15 PM | Rotating Saturdays: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

Pay Rate: $17-$19.07/HR

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Camillus Patient Service Center in Camillus, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics

• Process specimens and handle data entry as part of daily duties

• Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment

• Work independently with support from one other team member in a medium-sized PSC site

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of phlebotomy experience preferred

• Experience drawing blood from both pediatric and geriatric patients

• Ability to handle hard sticks, urine and thyroid testing

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• TB test and color vision screening required (Hepatitis B vaccine can be declined)

• Must be able to stand for most of the shift

Reliable transportation is a must.
