Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee production processes, manage personnel, and ensure quality control, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Supervise press production, personnel, and equipment in the Printing and Sheeting Departments.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maximizing productivity and reducing setup times.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards to ensure print consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain production goals and waste-control targets for the department.
• Manage inventory for departmental supplies to avoid shortages or delays.
• Collaborate with customers during press approvals to meet expectations.
• Assist press crews with troubleshooting and print production challenges.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 certification requirements.
• Identify and report safety concerns within the department.
• Support department manager with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Maintain and train personnel in company procedures, printing specifications, and G7 standards.
• Oversee Sheeting Department operations, ensuring alignment with Printing Department production goals.

Requirements:

• Experience with KBA/Heidelberg Large Format Press (7-Color) operations.
• Expertise with litho off set printing; lithography
• Hands-on experience with spectrophotometry and lab color measurement.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 certification requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
