LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing company based in Seattle, WA in the hiring of a Procurement Manager. The role will oversee procurement operations and sourcing efforts for capital expenditures and MRO categories across multiple facilities. The role will drive supplier strategy, manage complex negotiations and ensure supplier performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop procurement strategies for MRO categories to include identifying suppliers, optimizing cost and ensuring continued supply growth to meet business objectives
• Oversee the day-to-day communications with updating vendors, purchase orders, and forecasting needs
• Lead contract negotiations, build strong supplier relationship and ensure compliance
• Partner with cross functional teams to develop sourcing plans
• Analyze existing purchasing processes to ensure optimal performance

Qualification needed:

• 5 plus year of progressive procurement experience with strong focus in MRO categories
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• Strong negotiation, communication and project management experience
• Experience creating and implementing sourcing strategies across muti-site operations
• Experience working in manufacturing within food and beverage industry a plus
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP a plus
