Job Description

Location: Novato, California,

Duties:

• Plan and execute experiments to support the development and qualification of analytical assays for enzyme replacement therapies.
• Perform analytical methods, including potency, purity, cellular uptake, activity, enzyme kinetics, and multiple compendial methods.
• Design and conduct experimental studies efficiently to meet project goals and timelines.
• Provide concise, quantitative analysis of data and interpret experimental results.
• Provide effective oral presentations at departmental and interdepartmental meetings

Skills:

• Strong understanding of large molecule proteomics, lyophilized materials, and devices.
• Expertise in developing and executing biochemical and bioassay methods for potency, purity, and activity characterization of proteins.
• Excellent collaborative skills for working in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and scientific writing abilities.
• Proven ability in data analysis, interpretation, and scientific communication.
• Ability to adapt and execute effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team setting.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
• Title will be commensurate with experience.
