Our client is a rapidly growing regional waste hauler seeking a Routing Specialist in Texas. The Routing Specialist is responsible for optimizing and managing waste collection routes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations across all service areas. This full-time, exempt role involves working closely with operations, sales, and field teams to configure and adjust routes, integrate new business, and support acquisitions. Key duties include analyzing routing data, auditing route performance, utilizing GIS tools like ArcGIS or QGIS, and leading route improvements based on driver feedback and operational goals. The position requires strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills, with a preference for candidates who have experience in solid waste operations, logistics, or field management. Occasional travel and field visits are expected. This position would need to be located in Dallas, San Antonio, or Houston, and offers a competitive salary of $65k-85k, plus benefits.
