JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer sitting in Chatsworth, CA is looking to hire a hybrid Safety Project Manager focusing on enhancing their employee safety manual. This employer is required to have an injury illness program and within that they have a safety manual outlining their safety rules, how they comply and putting together a more comprehensive employee safety manual. This person will be responsible for putting together timelines, working through various business units, following change management protocols, training modules and reviewing compliance and permissions. He/She will be leading engagement and presentations to leadership on the employee safety manual vision. The schedule will require x3 days onsite at their Chatsworth office and x2 days remote. This role is paying between $55-70/hour.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree and/or High School Diploma
- 5-7+ years of Project Management experience, focused in safety practices within Cal/OSHA
- Familiar using Microsoft Projects, Sharepoint, Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience within Hazard Recognition, High Energy Control Assessments (HECA), Safety Tailgate Briefings (STB) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous Utilities experience
