About the Company:

As they continue to expand, they are looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This is a newly-created role with tremendous growth potential and exposure within the company!!!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly general ledger entries.
• Conduct monthly GL analysis for completeness and accuracy.
• Review and categorize expenses through Divvy and charge coding.
• Perform weekly revenue reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage CAPEX schedules and depreciation processes for capital expenditures.
• Oversee accounts receivable functions to ensure timely collections.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Collaborate with the VP of FP&A on variance analysis to explain actual vs. forecast differences.
• Assist in year-end financial close, tax preparation, and reporting, working with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Handle various ad hoc projects, end-of-year 1099 filings, state/local taxes, and foreign withholding taxes to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience ideally in entertainment industry
• Solid foundation of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to communicate effectively both within the Finance department and cross-functionally
• Experience with accounting ERP system such as NetSuite preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
