Job Description

We are a well-regarded Civil Engineering firm around the Central Coast, and we are looking to add a Senior Land Surveyor to help us keep up with our growing business demands. We utilize emerging technologies of surveying, including terrestrial scanning, mapping by UAV photography, and close-range photogrammetry. Key Expectations :

• Professionalism with a responsible and ambitious work ethic
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, learning and adhering to company Quality Control procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of surveying techniques and have a background with the Subdivision Map Act.
• Effectively and efficiently used AutoCAD and Civil3D to produce survey maps from survey data with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, including scope, budget, and scheduling control
• Meet quality deliverable expectations and have experience with preparation of proposals / RFP’s / SOQ’s including scope and budget, exhibits for interviews and participation in interviews, and meeting with current and potential clients.
• Assist in the development and decision-making as it relates to the use and workflow of both Trimble Business Center and Trimble Access

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of progressive Land Surveying experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Preferred experience with Spectra Survey Pro Field Collector software and Trimble Business Center software
• California professional registration preferred
