Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

The Mechanical Engineer will spearhead design, development, and validation projects from concept through production. This role involves cultivating cross-functional teams, overseeing engineering challenges, and ensuring the integration of technologies with a focus on quality, safety, and time-to-market efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 2+ years of experience, associate's degree with 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of experience with no degree.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate design.
• Ability to use various precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PDM
• Ability to travel to customer or vendor sites up to 15%

Desired Skills:

• Adept at balancing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring productivity while maintaining project quality
• Experience within the packaging industry
• Experience in client facing interactions
• Experience mentoring new or young engineers
