Senior Leader of Merchandising

We’re seeking a strategic and analytical merchandising leader to oversee one of the most high-impact categories in our assortment. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker—curious, data-driven, and execution-focused—with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and shape category success from concept through launch.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure product data integrity across all merchandising systems and processes
• Drive merchandising strategies and oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept to market launch
• Analyze the competitive landscape to optimize assortment, pricing, and presentation
• Review both in-store and online product presentation, identifying areas for improvement
• Use margin, pricing, and performance data to guide business decisions
• Build strategic product assortments that align with customer preferences, market trends, and financial goals
• Collaborate closely with Inventory Planning to ensure alignment on targets and performance
• Foster strong vendor partnerships, including pricing negotiations and long-term strategy development

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings or a related consumer category
• Proven ability to grow revenue, optimize product assortments, and execute strategic merchandising plans
• Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to identify and act on data trends
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with Inventory, Planning, Design, and Marketing teams
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence business decisions
• Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools; SQL experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (10+ years)
