Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer with Gen AI and LLM for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly scalable, secure APIs and microservices using Node.js and AWS server less technologies
• Automate software delivery and deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD practices
• Lead containerization strategies and optimize workloads for ECS Fargate and Lambda
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform
• Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and enforce code quality via tools like SonarQube and Contrast
• Integrate and lead Generative AI/LLM initiatives using AWS bedrock
• Implement Confluent Kafka to manage event-streaming and real-time data pipelines
• Utilize Datadog for observability, monitoring, and security of applications and infrastructure
• Design scalable, efficient data solutions using MongoDB and related NoSQL technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, and ML engineers to operationalize AI/ML solutions
• Mentor teams on software best practices, DevOps principles, and AI/ML model integration
• Support the evaluation, fine-tuning, and deployment of LLMs to meet application and infrastructure constraints
• Define and implement secure, responsible AI development and deployment strategies

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a code-contributing member in Agile software teams
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and RESTful API development
• Experience with Confluent Kafka for event-driven architecture and data streaming
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Fargate, etc
• Advanced skills in Docker containerization and orchestration
• Intermediate experience with IaC tools: AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform
• Intermediate understanding of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket), and integration with quality/security tools
• Proficiency in MongoDB and NoSQL technologies for scalable data design
• Strong knowledge of networking, IAM security, and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, A/B)
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and transformer architectures
• Proficiency in MongoDB and NoSQL technologies for scalable data design
• Familiarity with frameworks such as AWS Bedrock Services
• Experience in designing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs and transformer models
• Understanding of responsible AI, ML model lifecycle, explainability, and HITL systems
• Exceptional communication (written & verbal), documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to mentor, lead, and collaborate within cross-functional teams
• Capable of distilling complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
