Essential Functions:

• Successful candidates should be able to evaluate business rules and objectives to design new solutions within a microservices architecture. Focus on key client issues that impact the core business, requiring a good understanding of and practical production experience with web-based enterprise application development
• Provide technical expertise in support of KeyCloak/Linux SSO and related business applications
• Contribute to several software-related project functions by supporting Agile and DevSecOps implementation activities; collaborate between self-organizing and cross-functional teams
• Experience with Agile software development methodology with Test and Behavior Driven Development techniques (BDD)
• Experience with toolsets such as: Atlassian Tool Suite, GIT, Bitbucket, Cucumber, Confluence, Jenkins, and Jira

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• Knowledgeable with REST API, Java 8+, Spring-Boot, Spring Rest Services, SQL , REST APIs, Oracle, SQL languages and technologies. Automated Unit, Integration, and Systems testing of components utilizing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber, Quantum, etc.
• Knowledgeable of using java 17
• Experience deploying applications using Cloud Native methodologies and tools such as Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless Functions and Microservice Architectures
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and configuration management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevSecOps, Gitlab, Jira, Jama, etc.
• CompTIA Security+ certification OR the ability to obtain within 60 days of job offer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

• Experience with KeyCloak, Vue-JS , Node.js, Python, GWT 
• Experience with Unix scripting (Bash)
• Experience in supporting Red Hat OpenShift and/or Microsoft Azure applications
• Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS) and tools such as Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, Splunk, Teradata, and SQLite
• Knowledgeable of Azure Services: Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager)

Security Clearance:

• US citizen – Secret clearance (or above) preferred
• Must be eligible to obtain an IT2 / Secret clearance with SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:

• BS or BA degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline) with 10+ years related experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years of professional IT experience.
