Boutique U.S. immigration law firm, specializing in complex consular matters, federal court litigation, as well as investor/entrepreneur and business immigration, seeks a 1L or 2L law student for a Summer Associate position.
Under the direction of the Managing Attorney, the Summer Associate will become familiar with the laws related to investor and employment-based immigration. The practice focuses on EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and EB-5 green cards as well as E-2/E-1, L-1, O-1, H1-B, TN, F-1, and B visas, among others.
This is a hybrid-remote position, with an expectation of working from the office 2-3 time per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with case analysis and drafting letters.
• Prepare investor and employment-based applications and petitions.
• Write memorandums on a variety of immigration issues.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated interest in U.S. Immigration law
