Systems Engineer (Liquid Chromatography)

Overview:
We are supporting a global leader in analytical instruments and laboratory technologies as they look to bring on a Systems Engineer to join their team on a 9-month contract. This opportunity will focus on the design, integration, and performance testing of complex analytical systems with a particular focus on liquid chromatography (LC) technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design, development, and testing of next-generation analytical systems with an emphasis on liquid chromatography platforms.
Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and applications teams to ensure systems meet performance and quality standards.
Execute verification and validation activities, including writing protocols and analyzing data for system performance.
Troubleshoot complex system-level issues related to hardware and fluidics integration.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in product design, system reliability, and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience working with liquid chromatography instrumentation, either in a systems engineering, applications, or R&D capacity.
Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation systems, including mechanical, fluidics, and software components.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems in a multidisciplinary environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working within the life sciences, biotech, or instrumentation industries.
Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to analytical devices.
