Job Opportunity: Tax Manager

An established and growing organization in the services industry is seeking a Tax Manager to join its dynamic finance and accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to take on a leadership role in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings, including income, sales, and property taxes.
• Coordinate with external accounting firms for the preparation of corporate tax returns.
• Support the filing of U.S. personal property tax renditions.
• Review annual property tax assessments and liaise with external consultants to contest assessments where appropriate.
• Monitor and manage estimated tax deposit balances.
• Assist with audits and various special projects as needed.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
• Maintain and reconcile federal and state depreciation schedules.
• Produce ad hoc financial and tax-related reports as requested.
• Collaborate with the SALT and accounting teams on broader department initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong technical expertise in U.S. federal and state taxation.
• Proven experience in managing tax filings and working with external advisors.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
