The Practice

This firm’s tech trans team is where legal complexity meets business innovation. Associates don’t just execute—they advise, negotiate, and drive strategy on game-changing deals . It’s a collaborative, well-supported group that’s seen real success in placing associates into high-profile partner roles and elite in-house positions down the line.

Deals span:

• Strategic collaborations between emerging and established players
• Licensing and commercialization of frontier tech (think AI, biotech, crypto, data platforms)
• IP-heavy M&A and growth equity transactions
• Open source, content, and data rights structuring

You’ll Fit If You…

• Have 3–6 years of experience with intellectual property and commercial agreements—ideally in a tech-facing practice
• Are comfortable negotiating complex license and service agreements, SaaS, content, data use, and vendor contracts
• Can hold your own in M&A and financing contexts, especially around IP diligence and integration
• Think like a strategist, not just a lawyer—working directly with founders, GCs, and product leads
• Bring technical fluency, or at least deep curiosity—background in computer science, life sciences, or data governance is a plus
• Want to build, not just maintain—a rare chance to help shape an East Coast practice with West Coast reach
