Travel Nuclear Med Tech Opportunity:
· Part-time, 13-week travel contract with temp-to-perm opportunities available!
· Schedule: 3x8, day shift
Travel Nuclear Med Tech Responsibilities:
· Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures, operating equipment like gamma cameras and PET scanners to capture images.
· Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures, collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images for accurate diagnoses.
· Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols and proper disposal of radioactive materials.
· Educate patients about imaging procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Travel Nuclear Med Tech Qualifications:
· Current valid Alabama Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
· Current valid NMTCB or ARRT certification
· Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
