Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced and driven Construction Manager to oversee multiple commercial construction projects in the Indio area. This role requires a hands-on leader with over 10 years of project management experience in commercial construction. The Construction Manager will be responsible for bidding, project execution, and ensuring successful project delivery while reporting to the office in Indio daily. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working for general contractors.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide oversight and direction for multiple commercial construction projects in the Indio area, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead the bidding process, including estimating, proposal preparation, and subcontractor/vendor selection.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Mentor and manage project management teams to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, company policies, and contract requirements.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance and provide strategic guidance for improvement.

What You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with a strong background in commercial construction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bidding processes, including estimating and subcontractor negotiations.
  • Experience working for general contractors is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
