Job Description

Our client, an apparel company, is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing who is a visionary and results-driven to lead their digital marketing strategy and execution. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive digital marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of all digital marketing channels, analytics, and emerging technologies with a proven track record of delivering measurable results. This role is in-office 3 days per week and easily accessible by train from NYC, Northern New Jersey, or Connecticut.

  • The salary range for this role is $180,000+ based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Create and execute a cohesive digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Leverage data-driven insights to define target audiences, set goals, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs)

Campaign Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and display advertising

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals
  • Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance on best practices, campaign execution, and professional development

Performance Analysis:

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor and analyze campaign performance
  • Generate periodic reports and actionable insights to refine strategies, optimize ROI, and drive continuous improvement

Budget Management:

  • Oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across various channels
  • Track expenses and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost-efficiency

Innovation & Trends:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape
  • Integrate innovative tactics and tools to maintain a cutting-edge digital presence and drive growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments including sales, design, brand, and customer service to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize the impact of marketing efforts across all touchpoints

Brand Management:

  • Ensure consistency across all digital channels and maintain the integrity of the company’s online presence.
  • Develop and uphold digital guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.
  • Deep working knowledge of TickTock, Instagram, SnapChat, Pinterest and all relevant Media platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, all social media platforms, and CRM systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management abilities
  • Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
