Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a temp to hire HR Generalist to join a company in South Orange County. This role pays up to $52/ hour based off experience.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Develop and execute hiring strategies to attract skilled professionals.
  • Manage job postings, screen candidates, and conduct interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Address workplace concerns, resolve conflicts, and manage grievances.
  • Foster a positive work environment through communication and conflict resolution.
  • Assist in performance improvement initiatives when needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Administer salary reviews, bonuses, and other compensation structures.
  • Manage employee benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Stay informed on industry compensation trends to ensure competitiveness.

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate training programs to support skill development and career growth.
  • Assess program effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Assist with leadership development initiatives.

Compliance & Workplace Standards:

  • Ensure company policies align with employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Oversee workplace safety and compliance measures.

Performance & HR Administration:

  • Support goal-setting and performance review processes.
  • Guide managers in delivering effective employee feedback.
  • Maintain HR systems, process payroll, and handle benefits administration.
  • Monitor attendance and leave policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and office software.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
